ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: EST, I try and hit tags back at least daily or every other day, but the week that covers the end of one month and the beginning of the next is chaos at work so I may disappear or be slower then. Feel free to ping me if there's one you wanted to continue that I haven't gotten back to in a while.

CANON POINT: happy to write her at any point, defaulting to the very early days of the thunderbolts* gig right now because I want it so badly.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: I don't mind it being mentioned or coming up in conversation, obviously, but I don't particularly want to read detailed descriptions of sexual assault or child abuse, and I'm more likely to write her discussing such things as they happened to her in vague terms, if she discusses them at all. If there's anything in this character's canon/history that you need to avoid or be warned about, drop me a line and I will. additionally, absolutely no hard feelings if you need to opt out, I completely understand.

CHARACTER: Yelena Belova
AGE: She was *probably* born in or close to 1989, but has no idea beyond that, which makes her roughly 36 at some point in 2025. She did lose 5 years in the blip, though. If asked, who knows what she would say.

IN CHARACTER
PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Her reaction might vary if she isn't expecting it, but yes please. If you manage to sneak up on her and try it, you may well get punched.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Verbal fight, go for it. Physical fight, I have no clue how to write a fight scene, so I will probably opt to fade to black that part. For injuring, PM me first, gonna pass on any killing. Similarly, PM me if your character is a mind-reader or something and intends to use that.
SHIPPING: there are entirely too many characters in the MCU and I am entirely too easily romanced into a ship to list out names (although I will say I prefer to keep the family relationships family.) I do prefer a bit of a slow burn so unless they've got a relationship foundation existing in canon, I'd like a couple establishing gen/lightly flirty threads to start.

Abandonment, shitty childhood, parent issues, violence, near death experiences, torture, sexual assault, murder, violence against and by children, human trafficking, mind control, identity issues, in particular. If you need to avoid something? Let me know, I got you. If you don't want to interact with this character at all, or me at all, also let me know, there is an opt out link above. No hard feelings.
IC (What actions, content, or subjects would cause a negative reaction from your character?): Mentions or use of mind control, or in fact anyone messing with her mind at all, disregard for/of consent, violence against children or women.
IC OPT-OUTS: There are things she would refuse to do (things that hurt children or other people she perceives/considers to be innocents, primarily), but I don't want to refuse ahead of time. It would be a good opportunity for growth for her, if it came up.

COMICS: I am very slowly catching up on actual comic canon for various Marvel characters, but I've got that ADHD and it is currently a mystery of the universe if I'll ever been more than 3% familiar with the comics. That said! I am not worried about comic spoilers at all, absolutely feel free to throw your comic-version muses at her, just please let me know if there's anything she would know IC or if there's anything you think I should know pre/during the thread.
